New rules are coming into force today

Many rules are going to change on the occasion of New Year in UAE. People are going to benefit from these rules. January 1, 2023 means that these rules are coming into force from today.

Under this scheme, the employees who work in private or public sector will be given financial help in case of sudden job loss. After leaving the job, the employee will be given financial help for three months. How much the employees decide the subscription fee depends on their basic salary.

Workers with a salary of Dh16,000 or less will have to contribute Dh5 per month and Dh10 per month for those with a salary of Dh20,000 or more.

Emiratisation rule

Apart from this, Emiratisation rule is also going to be implemented in UAE. According to this rule, the company which has more than 50 employees will have to follow 2 percent Emiratisation rate.

If the employer does not comply with this rule, it will be fined a monthly of Dh 6,000 per worker. At the same time, this fine should be completed in single installment only.
